I registered to be a VNTQ's member for a long time, but actually this is my very first post (coz I usually just log in and reading some books). Well, just a sleepless night, I was surfing around this forum, and very exited to read this topic. You guys such a nice ladies .

Well we got one girl who can play guitar, one girl who can play piano, great, coz I can sing , so are we committing to be a band? (just kidding ). PS: I know my pros and cons. However, I am talkative in English (or 'writative' hihi) I want to write as much as possible and keep hoping someone will help me. You see, it's kind of 'vô duyên' if you talk some one fault before public, but no problem with me.

Well , obviously I'm here for improving my English, also. I can speak pretty fluent without too many accents, but my grammar skill is awful ! So I think I can correct you in speaking, not in writting, BUT, I'll try ! ^^ and you too, please correct my errors.
So regard me if I'm a "fault-catcher" (as your wish, and I want u to be, too ). Here is 2 very common errors that I found:

- I'll listen your song ( should be "listen to...s.thing")
- if you talk some one fault before public, but no problem with me. ( should say " If you TELL SOMEONE's fault IN FRONT OF the public, but THERE IS no problem with me")

But anyway, in chatting language we don't have to be perfect, right? So I think you're good, as good as I wanna be

I think if somebody live in other country for 2 years or more, they can speak its language fluently! I have never gone away VN. I wish I could come to Singapore for 2 months and may be I'll die after 1 week!

It doesn't matter how long did you stay in the country, it depends on how hard you've worked on the language. I've been there for almost 4 years now, and some of my friends who actually speak very little English (even they came to the US before me). Trust me, nowhere is the heaven, just the way we look on it. If you have talent but not dedicating your mind on every single day, one day that talent gonna fail you

Uh, when I read again this sentence, I thought it's silly to write like this
I meant that I want to go to Singapore for 2 months and I think that I would die after 2 weeks if I went there. Because I can't speak English or Chinese, writing skill is terrible, no one can understand what I want. I can't buy food, can't talk, so 2 weeks is a long time to survive.

Let's me clear something out for you, sweetheart ! God never shut the door without opening the window ! I came to the US with no English, no relative, no clue how to deal,to survive with that life. But, It's just...gone,ok, just gave you an idea that when something goes bad, you'll have an inside power to archive it. You wanna do something, go and do it. Period ! 

Don't be afraid to be under hard circumstance !

My brothers had same case with you. They didn't have anything (now they have a lot). They just gone and didn't think about the days after. They came to USA and studied like others. You can see, they couldn't understand teachers and friends. It's really hard!
I have learnt a lot from you.

I didn't get it, sorry ! Did you mean I'm using 'lot of spoken English. If so, I don't think I use many speaking language in my writting. Spoken English is...crap, no grammar, and as short you can say to let people understand as possible. But well, I can say this is informal English, which doesn't require too many component and complexity in the sentence.

We are replying to each others, not writting different essays, so don't be so serious on how we wrote, 'kay !

But anyway, it's fun to keep this topic stay open lively, right?

I meant your English is natural as spoken language: you use words which I can understand and proverbs. I don't like write essay or something like that, and this topic named "let's chat" so let's chat like we did.

Well, It took me about 5 minutes to reply on your comment, so if 5 minutes is counting "many free time", I would say I have plenty of free time, hee 
I'm living in the US sweetheart. There is no more than 2 things in the student life here: books and internet. The reason that you could understand all my words is that I'm not really good in writing, seriously. The sad thing is, I've already finished all my required English classes, so I do not have to worry about writing stuff anymore ( <--- makes me lazy to write)
Replying on this topic is gradually being my daily work, lol !

What a great idea to join to the translated team of VNTQ ! I've tried to translate before, but it just didn't work ! I don't think my reading is quite good enough to be able to convey the whole meaning of the story, so...I'm afraid that I can't join to that team (but I highly appreciate and concern on it) right now. However, I'll think about it :D. If we need a speaking tutor, I think I could help.

ok, today is the day like other days. I got up at 6:00, leave home, go home at 4:20 pm, reading book, doing some daily work, bla bla bla
At this time, I have a lot of thing to finish. But, the more thing I  have to do, the lazier I am. I hide these thing by turning on my computer and typing something and turn off, and go to sleep earlier than normal. So, I don't know when I finish 'all these project'. I don't like it! Death line is near and I am going to die! Sometimes, I think I'm just a stupid girl, and can't do anything. I want to finish them, but I can't, I can't find the way how to do it.

The problem of the world today is that we have toooo many things to finish up, right. Just like when I woke up this morning, I felt like "God, the whole entire world is just wanna eat and swallow me", there are school stuffs, music projects, daily works, so on...
Well, I think everybody has the life pressure. It's hard to control, but we somehow can control it as well as we want to. I got a little "secret" that I might wanna share with you, which I called "the 5 minutes" ! In the US, time is the best value, time is money, time is...priority, so it's significant to know how to control and use time correctly. With me, I never forget my "5 minutes", which can help me really FIGHT with the other "HOURS". For instance, I never forget to do a little body exercise when I wake up, never forget my coffee when I drive to school, or my "5 minutes" to take a bit of fresh air out the river side closed to my school.

I'm in the library now for preparing my very important test tomorrow, and I will leave at 3:00PM to the Vietnamese coffee shop to watch the soccer match (which has Manchester United, my idol team :X), then I will go to my buddy house to practice playing duo guitar with him, and making a bit of music. Seem like a pleasant day for me, isn't it?

When I go somewhere or doing something, I need to "feel" the energy of the top ! I need you do, too, my sweet friend !

I played this song with my friend (she played flute) last month in the rehearsal of our final exit test at school. Today, well, I stuck with my school stuff, there are too many things to finish up, (just like you huh, sweet.heart). I went to the rill behind the campus, sat down on the grass, felt the fresh air, and playing my guitar (I'm always bring my guitar with me, put it in the trunk of my car, so I can play it in the "romantic" scene ^^). I felt so boring, homesick, and lonely. There is not about the options of being where, doing what, but about the lonelyness when I have to face with everything by myself. I miss my Mom, Dad, bros, miss my Mom's cook ( I love her "canh chua cá lóc", "cá kho tộ",vvv....) I didn't have a warm family meal for almost 4 years, really really miss that !
Just talk to myself "all the sacrifice will come to a happy ending". I'll back with my energy tomorrow, coz there is a important test waiting upon my head .

Yesterday, I had many thing finished. (could you understand me?. If not, would you mind correcting it for me?). So I can't answer you, Hưng. At last, I can find some 'fresh air'. I can't finish my project before deathline, so I will talk with my teacher, and hoping he not be angry.
Broom and I are living in Vietnam. Many member in VNTQ is not 'lucky' like us! However, we are chatting with each other, and no barrier can seperate us. Love your song, sweet :X. It's titled "Proud of You", right? I wrote a short story based on that song. It's actually my love memory with a girl I met when I've just arrived in the US. I haven't heard this song again since that day (almost about 3 years now), and today re-listen to it, fall in love with it like a first time. Thanks again for reminding me my pleasure memory.

You would not know how much you made me feel hungry, broom . ^^ just kidding, I love that food ("cá kho tộ", isn't it? ). Today i have class very late in the evening, 6:30PM, so the whole morning is mine . I woke up early, never forget my coffee, and you know what broom, I saw the sunshine light on me. How lovely and peaceful is that moment ! 7:00AM, still very early, baked a sandwich and use with my milk coffee, then enjoy the sound with my piano. I love to play piano in the morning because it releases lot of stressful things and gives me power for a new day.
