At Nina Ricci, Tuleh, and Temperley, pale mesh was layered over pastel solids, which highlighted its delicacy. Jill Stuart and Sari Gueron addressed the see-through issue by tiering and draping great swaths of lace into vintage-look party frocks fit for an ingénue, while Sonia Rykiel went the racy route, showing a black style against bare skin.
